Biography

Ellen Celli Bell, 84 of Dilliner, Pa, died at 12:20 A.M. on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born November 18, 1924 in Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Attillio and Marie Carmela (Ondrejko) Celli. Mrs. Bell resided in Dilliner all of her life and was Roman Catholic. She retired as a nurses aide in 1987 from the former Curry Memorial Home, Waynesburg, Pa. and enjoyed music and dancing. On November 9, 1946, she married William John "Woody" Bell, who died August 4, 2006.

Surviving are four daughters, Marie C. Babb and her husband, Ronald of Dilliner, Mary E. Morgan and her husband, Marshall of Morgantown, W. Va., Rose A. Brown and her husband, Harry Marvin of Dilliner and Candy B. Barnhart and her husband, Duncan of Carmichaels; five grandchildren, Eric Brown, Ronald Babb, Jr., Lori Guesman, Bobbie Jo Brown and Paige Barnhart; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Baldo Celli, Tony Celli and Londo Celli and five sisters, Mary Zuberlin, Rose Tenney, Stella Bell, Rachel Lowther and Margaret Kasinec.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. were the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. The Rev. Bruce R. Judy will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Albert Gallatin Hospice, Inc., 20 Highland Park Dr., Suite 203, Uniontown, PA 15401.
