Ann L. Almasi Hudock

Ann L. Almasi Hudock, 87 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 6:10 P.M. on Monday, November 19, 2007 at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born June 24, 1920 in West Leisenring, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Mary (Urcheck) Almasi, Sr. Mrs. Hudock resided in Carmichaels since 1951 where she was a member of the St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, the Rosary Society of the Church, the St. Hugh Senior Activity Group and the Carmichaels Senior Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking and listening to polkas on the radio. On June 21, 1939, she married Joseph P. Hudock, who died December 3, 2004. Surviving are a son, Richard J. Hudock of Carmichaels; a daughter, Monica A. Maholtz and her husband, Charles of Poland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Rose Ann Maholtz, Colleen M. Maholtz and Angela M. Zedaker; four sisters, Sally Palya and her husband, Frank and Helen Nypaver, all of Uniontown, Pa., Julia Krishan and her husband, Edward of Maple Heights, Ohio and Thresia McGarvey of Hudson, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, David Paul Hudock, who died in infancy; two brothers, John J. Almasi and Andrew A. Almasi and a sister, Mary Clay. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2007, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Rev. John M. Bauer and the Rev. Francis A. Nazimek as concelebrants. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday in the funeral home.
