Donald E. Ranft

Donald E. Ranft, 69 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 8:40 P.M. on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at UPMC - Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born December 30, 1937 in Brentwood, Pa., a son of the late Harry C. and Dorothy A. (McAdams) Ranft. Mr. Ranft was a 1957 graduate of Baldwin High School and resided in Cumberland Township, Greene County since 1970. He worked as a self employed gardener and lawn care worker in the Mount Lebanon area for many years. Mr. Ranft was a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church of Carmichaels. Surviving are a cousin, Dr. Virginia Walsh Reper and her husband, Ronald of Houston, Tex. He was the last of his immediate family. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P. M. the hour of service on Monday, September 10, 2007 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. The Rev. Harold O. Kelley will officiate. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, Pa
