Doris Jean Crowley

Doris (Jean) Crowley, 79, of Greensboro, Pa. and formerly of New Castle, Pa., died at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born April 22, 1928 in Volant, Pa., a daughter of the late Rev. Edward R. and Mrs. Anna I. (Jenkins) Truran. Mrs. Crowley was a graduate of New Castle High School and was affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are her daughter, Marsha J. (Crowley) Fox and her husband, Thomas W. Fox of 1 Fox Lane, Greensboro, Pa.; two grandchildren, Thomas W. Fox II and Jeffrey Scott Fox; four great grandchildren, Garrett Thomas Fox, Preston Charles Fox, Tori Leann Fox and Brady Scott Fox; a sister-in-law, Betty Truran of Austintown, Ohio and a niece, Charlotte Tyree of Austintown. Deceased are her husband, Francis (Bud) Crowley and a brother, Edward R. Truran, Jr. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.and noon to 2:00 P.M. the hour of services on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in the Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, Pa. with the Rev. Larry F. Llewellyn officiating. Entombment will take place in the mausoleum at Castle View Memorial Gardens, New Castle.
