Loretta Cree Grable, 71, of Carmichaels, Pa., died unexpectedly at 8:45 A.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born September 17, 1935 in Khedive, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Ralph D. and Evelyn Ewart Cree. Mrs. Grable resided in Cumberland Township most of her life and was a Presbyterian. She was a well known accordion and piano player and played with "The Countrymen" and the "John Wells Band". In her younger years, she played music with her father at square dances. Mrs. Grable was a member of Cumberland American Legion Post 400 Auxiliary and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 888 Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Surviving are a son, John A. Grable of Carmichaels; two daughters, Claudia Grable O'Connor and her companion, Earnie Matiyasic, Jr. of Carmichaels and Sandi J. Palone and her husband, Dino of Jefferson, Pa.; five grandchildren, Jonathan O'Connor, Brent O'Connor, Nicholas Palone, Christopher Palone and Renee Palone; four great grandchildren, Emily & Hayley Palone and Madison and Lillian Palone; two brothers, Stanley Cree and his wife, Willa of Waynesburg, Pa. and Richard Cree and his wife, Sue of Carmichaels; a sister, JoAnn Cree of Jefferson and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcomed from 7 to 9 P.M. on Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 with the Rev. Harold O. Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at Muddy Creek Cemetery, Khedive.
