Nancy Hunt

Nancy L. Hunt, 65, of R. D. #1, Mount Morris (Dunkard Township), Pa. and formerly of Raccoon Township, Beaver County, Pa., died unexpectedly at 3:30 P. M. on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at her home. She was born December 8, 1940 in Khedive, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Fred R. and Edith Whoolery Clark. Mrs. Hunt attended Mapletown High School and Beaver County Community College and resided in Dunkard Township since 1989. She was a former member of the Upper Service United Presbyterian Church in Raccoon Township and a former member of the Dunkard Township Grange. Mrs. Hunt served as majority election officer for Dunkard Township. Mrs. Hunt worked as a manager of National Shirt Shop and Piercing Pagoda at Beaver Valley Mall and was last employed at L & T Supply Company of Mount Morris. She and her husband, Roy, built a home in Beaver County and four homes in Dunkard Township. She especially enjoyed planning and decorating her homes. Mrs. Hunt also enjoyed gardening and making flower arrangements. Her family believes that her place in heaven will be the neatest and most decorated. There will also be so many floral arrangements that God will think that it is always Spring. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. On December 24, 1959, she married Roy W. Hunt, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Roy Allen Hunt and his wife, Catherine of Hopewell Township, Beaver County; a daughter, Robin Hunt Cannon and her husband, Wayne of Boiling Springs, S. C.; three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Reisker, William J. Carney and Kellee M. Hunt; a great granddaughter, Makayla Carney; a sister, Doris Hathaway of Carmichaels, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Larry Hunt of Monaca, Pa. and a sister-in-law, Margaret Hunt Frankenberry of Center Township, Beaver County. Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. on Saturday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels where funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Sunday, June 11, 2006 with Pastor Erwin (Woody) Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Dunkard Township.
