Jane Hoke, 87 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died at 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Stewart's Personal Care Home, Carmichaels. She was born January 7, 1920 in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late Van K. and Lottie (Baker) Morrison. Mrs. Hoke resided in Greensboro most of her life. On April 11, 1935 in Washington, she married Ross M. "Shorty" Hoke, who died December 8, 2004. Surviving are a son, Homer V. Hoke and his wife, Patty of Greensboro; five daughters, Ruth J. Kovalcheck and her husband, Robert of Carmichaels, Evelyn K. Grimm and her husband, Jacob of Murrells Inlet, S. C., Madeline L. Cox and her husband, Jim of Brunswick, Ohio, Karen L. Phillips of Carmichaels, wife of the late Ronald Phillips and Sharon L. Wolfe of Watonga, Okla.; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Freida Smith of Eighty Four, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Paul M. Hoke; three grandchildren, Robert Kovalcheck, Jr., Rochelle Kubasik and a Baby Girl Fox and a sister, Alvenetta Baitman. Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, Carmichaels where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 23, 2007 with the Rev. Timothy D. Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Garards Fort Cemetery.
