Julia G. Latsnic, 95 of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 1:45 P.M. on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Lasosky's Personal Care Home, Clarksville. She was born February 2, 1911 in Miller Farm, Pa., a daughter of the late Steve and Julia Gorcheck. Mrs. Latsnic resided in Nemacolin for the past 73 years where she was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, sewing, flower gardening and the company of her family. Her husband, Steve E. Latsnic, died September 28, 1984. Surviving are a son, John W. Latsnic and his wife, Mary of Canonsburg, Pa.; three daughters, Dolly Kuzlinski and her husband, Stanley of Rices Landing, Pa., Dolores Rumancik and her husband, Joseph of North Canton, Ohio and Shirley Morris of Meadville, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, John Horvat, Jr., Susan Horvat Miciolek, Maureen Negulescu, Cheryl Sparino, Edward Latsnic, Linda Wright, Louann Cruz, Rudy Juracko, David Rumancik, Mark Rumancik, Chad Rumancik, Michelle Morris and Jason Morris; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Frank Latsnic; a daughter, Elsie Horvat; three brothers, Steve, Frank and George Gorcheck and a sister, Antonette Steiner. Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church, Nemacolin with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P. M. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
