Patricia Ann Averett

Patricia Ann Averett, 79 of Mather, Pa. and formerly of Miami, Fla., died at 9:10 A.M. on Monday, July 23, 2007 at her home. She was born December 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, N. Y., a daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (McLaughlin) Patterson. Mrs. Averett worked for 30 years as a dietary manager at Baptist Hospital in Miami. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a good friend to many. Mrs. Averett will be sadly missed by her family. Surviving are a son, William D. Averett and his wife, Marilyn, with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, Lisa Vance, Kelly Averett, Grant Averett and Jill Averett and two great grandchildren, Brianna Vance and Piper Vance. There will be no public viewing and family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 28, 2007 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, Carmichaels, Pa. Dr. William L. Parker will officiate.
