Ronald M. Day

Ronald M. Day, age 57 of Rices Landing, Pa. (Dry Tavern) formerly of Carmichaels, Pa. died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. He was born May 14, 1950 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of Luther Martin and Margaret (Holoupka) Day of Carmichaels. Mr. Day was a 1968 graduate of Cumberland High School and later received an Associates Degree for Electrician. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Allegheny Energy Hatfield Power Station. Mr. Day was and avid supporter of various animal and wildlife associations and loved spending time with his four dogs. He was also an avid gun enthusiast. Surviving are three daughters, Tracey Ottena and her husband Michael of Clarksville, Pa., Jacqueline Day and Candace Day both of California, Pa.; one grandson Drew Ottena; one brother Roger Day and his wife Sharon of Richmond, Va. and one sister Cheryl Gallentine and her husband William of Carmichaels. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Services are private and under the direction of the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa.
