Samuel T. Johnson, 76, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 6:10 P.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in his home. He was born October 15, 1930 in Paisley, Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pa., a son of the late William Lewis Johnson, Sr. and Lillian (Barnhart) Johnson. Mr. Johnson resided in the Carmichaels area all of his life where he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carmichaels, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 819 and a former member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels. He and his brother, Sanford, owned and operated Johnson Brothers Used Furniture and Antiques for 23 years until 1991. Mr. Johnson also worked for the White Tamping Company of Carmichaels for 30 years. He enjoyed the company of others and attending flea markets and sales with his brother Sanford. Surviving are his brother, Sanford D. Johnson, with whom he made his home and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, William Lewis Johnson, Sr. and Donald R. Johnson and three sisters, Jean Kohut, Mary Jane McNatt and Elda Ruth Rowe. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday and 2 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, Carmichaels, Pa. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 13, 2007 in the funeral home with the Pastor Domenick Sgro and Pastor Kenneth D. Summers officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Greene County Memorial Park.
