Theodore "Ted" Presock

April 18, 1925 — December 22, 2007

Theodore "Ted" Presock, 82 of Carmichaels (Greene Township), Pa. died at 11:35 A.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. He was born April 18, 1925 in Ammon, Fayette County, Pa. a son of the late Jacob and Pearl (Branhoover) Presock. Mr. Presock resided in the Carmichaels area most of his life and retired as a foreman from the Bethlehem Steel Corporation Marianna Mine. On August 30, 1948, he married Ruth Norris, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Theodore B. Presock and his wife, Joyce and Jerry L. Presock and his companion, Trina, all of Carmichaels; three daughters, Darlene S. Beswick and her husband, Larry and Denise L. Forman and her husband, Derek all of Carmichaels and Shaun E. Sapp and her husband, Ken of Morgantown, W. Va.; 13 grandchildren, Keith A. Bowser and his wife, April, Lisa D. Moore and her companion, Joe, Jason L. Bowser, Stacey Brown and her husband, Curt, Tedi Lynne Pozzuto and her husband, Mike, Amy Smith and her husband, Denny, Katelyn Presock and her fiancé, Matt, Terri Wallace and her husband, Brandon, Sherri Grim and her husband, Jason, Laura Hart, Daniel Shuckhart, Tiffany Morgan and her husband, Matt, and Memry Jordan; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, George "Butch" Presock of Greensboro; a sister, Esther Ullery of Levels, W. Va. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a grandson, David Bowser; five brothers, Van Albert Presock and Joseph David Presock, both who died in infancy, Harry Elmer Presock, Jacob Presock and Pete Presock; four sisters, Virginia Fordyce, Grace Ullom, Rebecca Alkire and Dorothy Glenndening. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 28, 2007 with Pastor Timothy D. Tanner and Pastor Michael E. Wirt officiating. Interment will follow at Wolf's Cemetery, Dilliner, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
