Virginia D. "Ginny" Colley

Virginia D. "Ginny" Colley, 90 of Morgan Township, Greene County, Pa., died at 1:45 A.M. on Friday, November 23, 2007 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born August 28, 1917 in McClellandtown, Pa., a daughter of the late Clyde Martin and the late Donna (Stacey) Wade. Mrs. Colley was formerly of Searight's Crossroads, Fayette County and had attended the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church in Smock, Pa. She moved to Morgan Township in 1983. Mrs. Colley enjoyed cooking, baking and the company of her family, especially her grandchildren. Her husband, William B. Colley, died February 5, 1978. Surviving are a son, Robert F. Colley and his wife, Joan, with whom Mrs. Colley resided; two grandchildren that were raised by Mrs. Colley, Lisa L. Dorsey and her husband, Raymond of Waynesburg and Bobby F. Colley and his companion, Kim Manfredi of Mather, Pa.; 13 additional grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sons, James S. Martin and William B. Colley; a daughter, Mary Ellen Lowther; a brother, Harry Martin and a sister, Mary Brashear. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 with the Rev. Wm. Bradford Davis officiating. Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
