Sharlene White

Sharlene E. White, 72 of Nemacolin, Pa. died at 8:20 A. M. on Saturday, July 1, 2006 in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born May 25, 1934 in Crestline, Ohio, a daughter of the late David A. and Margaret Ellen Davidson Miller. Mrs. White graduated from Crestline High School in 1953 and resided in Nemacolin since 1966. She was a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels, Pa. where she had been active in the adult Sunday School Class and had worked with the bus ministry. Mrs. White was a former member of the Carmichaels Grange and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Company. Mrs. White was employed for six years at Stratberry Manufacturing Co. in Galion, Ohio. On May 10, 1959, she married James H. White, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Ensil E. Miller of Rices Landing, Pa., David P. White and his wife, Connie of Morgantown, W. Va.. Dean M. White and his wife, Frances of Dry Tavern, Pa., James H. White, II and his wife, Patty of Carmichaels and Glenn Otis White and his wife, Karen of Greensboro, Pa.; seven grandchildren, SSgt Ray White and his wife, Dr. Jamie White, Richard L. White, Jennifer P. Davis and her husband, Gary, Whitney A. White, Brandon White, Jeffrey White and Christopher White and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Ensil E. Miller, Robert D. Miller and E. Glenn Miller Family and friends are welcomed from 7 to 9 P. M. on Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 P. M. on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:30 P. M. on Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Harold O. Kelley officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, Ohio. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 363, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
