Patricia Olenik Holupka

Patricia Olenik Holupka, 78 of Uniontown, Pa. and formerly of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 2:25 P.M. on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown. She was born January 7, 1930 in Masontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph Stephen and Anna (Urbany) Olenik. Mrs. Holupka was a graduate of All Saints High School and was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church of Masontown. She worked at the Mt. Vernon Inn in Uniontown for a number of years. Mrs. Holupka was a former member of the Greene County Country Club and was an avid golfer. On June 25, 1956, she married George Holupka, who died September 2, 2002. Surviving are four sisters, Dorothy Zebrasky and her husband, Walter of Uniontown, Geraldine Estanich and her husband, William of Uniontown, Mildred C. Tippen and her husband, Edward of Masontown and Johanna McDonald and her husband, Stewart of Big Bear City, Cal., a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Olenik of Uniontown and many nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Joseph E. Olenik. There will be no public viewing and a memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 8, 2008 at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 101 West Church Ave., Masontown, Pa. with the Rev. John M. Butler as celebrant. Interment of her cremains will follow the Mass at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to All Saints Regional School, 100 South Washington St., Masontown, PA 15461.
