Agnes G. Dugan Johnson

August 3, 1924 — October 26, 2008

Agnes G. Dugan Johnson, 84 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died unexpectedly at 12:28 A.M. on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the emergency room at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born August 3, 1924 in Monongahela Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late James Robinson and Mattie Jane (Phillips) Dugan. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Mapletown High School and resided in the Greensboro and Carmichaels area all of her life. At one time, she attended the Fairdale Free Methodist Church of Carmichaels and was a lifetime member of the Bobtown Rod and Gun Club. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed the company of her family and especially cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are five sons, Robert L. Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Umatilla, Fla., James C. Johnson and his wife, Rose of Bristoria, Pa., Charles W. Johnson of Carmichaels, Carl E. Johnson and his wife, Shirley of Bobtown, Pa. and John R. Johnson of Carmichaels and his fiancé, Delilah Phillips; four daughters, Sally A. Becker and her husband, Robert of Canton, Ohio, Susan M. Sanders and her husband, Roland, with whom she made her home in Carmichaels, Virginia C. Helmick and her husband, Raymond of Navarre, Ohio and Janet L. Anderson of Bobtown; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Dugan and his wife, Eleanor of Munhall, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two grandsons, Charles William Johnson, Jr. and Robert Vincent Slabaugh; four brothers, Lester, Warner, Glenn and George Dugan; a sister, Virginia Murphy and the father of her children, Robert L. Johnson, Sr. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. The Rev. P. Keith Larson will officiate. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa.
