Joyce J. Cunningham Taylor

Joyce J. Cunningham Taylor, 68 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 7:03 P. M. on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born October 19, 1940 in Nicholson Township (Provins Hill), Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late Norman and Jane (Lytle) Cunningham. Mrs. Taylor was a 1959 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and recently resided in Carmichaels since 1995. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Community Hospital in Cane, Pa. and later for the Lutheran Home in Cane. Her husband, John Richard Taylor, whom she married on January 26, 1973, died April 15, 1995. Surviving are a sister, Allene Tarasuk of Carmichaels; a niece; eight nephews and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Marjorie Whoolery and Norma Jean Swartz. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 P. M. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will take place on 8:30 P. M. on Tuesday in the funeral home following the visitation with the Rev. Reagan L. Fike officiating. Private interment will take place on Wednesday at Dickerson Run Union Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa.
