Blossom J. Smith

Blossom J. Smith, 66 of McClellandtown, Pa. and formerly of Dilliner, Pa., died at 5:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 1, 2009 in her home. She was born April 19, 1942 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late William Earl and Maezella June (Morris) King. Mrs. Smith enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and baking. Her husband, Samuel S. Smith, died in July of 1983. Surviving are two sons, Samuel S. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Pinkerton, Ohio and Bradley J. Smith and his fiancé, Brandi Stallard of Carmichaels; three daughters, Maezella J. McCullough and her husband, John of Point Marion, Pa., Robin Louise Swaney and her husband, Stuart of Greensboro, Pa. and Sheila S. Pritchard and her husband, Steven of Bobtown, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert King and his wife, Betty of Richmond, Va., William King and his wife, Wanda of Steubenville, Ohio and Walter King and his wife, Donna of Bobtown; two sisters, Dolores Richards of Bobtown and Joan Walters of Waynesburg, Pa.; a close friend, Lee Stillwagon of McClellandtown and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Raymond King. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 P.M. on Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth A. Haines officiating. Private interment will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Wolf's Cemetery, Dilliner.
