Joyce E. Riley

Joyce E. Riley, 66 of Carmichaels, Pa. died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. following a lengthy illness. She was born March 23, 1942 in Uniontown, Pa. a daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude Loretta Ann (Cumberland) Brooks. Mrs. Riley was a 1960 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing and bowled in a league at the Klondike Lanes in Masontown, Pa. Surviving is two sons, Carl E. Savage, Sr. and his wife GiGi of Cleveland, Ohio and Robert L. Savage of Carmichaels; two daughters, Rhonda B. Hull of Carmichaels and Joyce E. Hull Presock and her husband Theodore of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren, Carl E. Savage, Jr., Andria M. Hull, Memry Aylssa Shelly Kay Jordan, Josh Savage, Brandon Savage, Nicholas Savage and Kaileen Savage; one brother, James R. Brooks of Georgia; four sisters, Pam Leadbeater of Georgia, Leatha Collins of Smithfield, Pa., Gloria M. Cobin of Brownsville, Pa. and Debra K. Quinn of Atlanta, Ga. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are three brothers, John W. Brooks who died in infancy, Robert Brooks and Roger Brooks; one sister Betty J. Brooks and her first husband Robert L. Hull, the father of her children. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday and 3 to 5 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February, 14, 2009 with Pastor Michael E. Wirt officiating. Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
