William R. Treece, 56 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 11:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 in his home. He was born June 13, 1952 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a son of the late George Houston and Betty G. (Clites) Treece. Mr. Treece resided in the Carmichaels area most of his life. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Treece especially cherished the company of his grandchildren. Surviving are his companion, Janet Carey, with whom he made his home; a son, Robert W. Treece and his wife, Sarah of Crucible, Pa.; four grandchildren, Brittany, Bridget and Bobby Lephew and Robert Treece; two brothers, George H. Treece and his wife, Maxine of Greensboro, Pa. and James R. Treece of Nemacolin, Pa.; a sister, Betty Walker of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, John Edward Treece who died in infancy. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation in the funeral home at 8:30 P.M. on Sunday with Pastor R. Scott Teets officiating.
