David A. Turian, 51 of Nineveh, Pa. and formerly of Carmichaels and Marianna, Pa., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 as the result of a motor vehicle accident on State Route 18, Morris Township, Washington County, Pa. He was born November 12, 1957 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a son of John and Helen (Matula) Turian of Carmichaels. Mr. Turian was a 1975 graduate of Beth-Center High School and worked in construction. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, John Turian, Jr. of Brooklyn, N. Y.; three sisters, Genevieve Johnson and her husband, Jeff of Carmichaels, Frances Pollaro of Staten Island, N. Y. and Colette Metcalf and her husband, Mark of Carmichaels; a niece, Janine Skochelak of Keedysville, Md. and two nephews, Jeff Johnson, Jr. of Beckley, W. Va. and Curtis Johnson of Clarksville, Pa. Funeral arrangements are private and interment will take place at Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
