Mike J. Krupinsky

Mike J. Krupinsky, 90 of Greensboro, Pa., died at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at his home. He was born August 10, 1918 in Grays Landing, Fayette Co., Pa. a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Baloga) Krupinsky. Mr. Krupinsky lived in the Greensboro area all of his married life. He retired in 1980 from the Duquesne Light Warwick Mine after working there for 45 years and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America Duquesne Light Local 6310. Mr. Krupinsky was a member of and assisted in the building of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro. He was also a former member of the Holy Name Society of the Church and served as an usher. Mr. Krupinsky enjoyed nature, square dancing and his hobbies, weaving rugs and woodworking. He cherished his family especially his grandchildren. On July 18, 1942, he married Irene Urban, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Dr. Joseph M. Krupinsky and his wife, Diane of Bismarck, N. D.; two daughters, Anna Marie Watson and her husband, James of Tamarac, Fla. and Diane Danko and her husband, William of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Tammy Strock, Cheryl Faulkner and her husband, Tom, James Watson, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Dan Krupinsky, Michael Krupinsky and his wife, Dawn, Tonya Danko, William Danko, Jr. and Jennifer Danko; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family. Deceased are a grandson Joseph Watson; four brothers, George and John A. Krupinsky and two infant brothers and four sisters, Mary Berdar, Kate Lengal, Anna Sleyzak and Sue Roskos. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Saturday and Noon to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. A blessing service will be held at 10:15 A.M. on Monday, March 23, 2009 in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Family Worship Site of the St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish, Greensboro with the Rev. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa. OUR GUEST BOOK IS BELOW
