Cecelia Cihon Yoskovich, of Masontown, Pa., died on Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. after a lengthy illness. She was born in Nemacolin, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Antoletz) Cihon. Mrs. Yoskovich was a 1948 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and resided in Masontown since 1954. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone, Pa. where she participated in the Church prayer group as long as her health permitted. On August 28, 1954, she married Martin Yoskovich, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Martin J. Yoskovich and his wife, Janice of Carmichaels, Pa.; a daughter, Cheryl R. Shaw and her husband, Joseph of Brownsville, Pa.; two grandchildren, Melissa Sagosky of Masontown and Christopher Sagosky of Brownsville; a brother, Dr. William P. Cihon and his companion, Georgeann Smith of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters-in-law, Josephine (Jay) Cihon of Gates Mills, Ohio and Isabel Cihon of Mentor, Ohio and several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins in Poland. Deceased are four brothers, Adam Cihon, who died in infancy, Joseph Cihon, John Cihon and Steve Cihon and four sisters, Anna Cihon, who died in childhood, Margaret (Marge) Mrazek, Mary Hurtuk and Helen A. Longshore Nielson. Family and friends are welcomed from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:15 A. M. on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa. with the Rev. John M. Butler as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Leckrone. A vigil service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home.
