H. Allan "Bud" Baily, 92 of Carmichaels, Pa. died at 3:00 A. M. on Monday, March 23, 2009. He was born April 19, 1916 in Cumberland Township, Pa., a son of the late J. Howard and Bess (Ewart) Baily. Mr. Baily resided in Carmichaels all of his life. He was a longtime member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church of Carmichaels. Mr. Baily was a member of the Carmichaels and Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Company since December 17, 1954 where he served as President and Trustee for many years. On April 7, 1995, after 41 years of active service, he became an honorary fireman. Mr. Baily served on the board of directors of the First National Bank (Community Bank), Carmichaels from 1963 to 1996. He was a member of Waynesburg Lodge No.153 F. & A. M., as well as a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Pittsburgh and a member of the Syria Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. Mr. Baily owned and operated Baily's Garage in Carmichaels for approximately 50 years. He was also a member of the National Automotive Dealers Association. Mr. Baily enjoyed gardening and was also known for his quiet wit and practical jokes. Surviving are two sons, David Thomas Baily and his wife Nancy and John H. Baily and his fiancé Laura Walters, both of Carmichaels, Pa., two daughters, JoAnn Baily Kline and husband Lee of Carmichaels and Susan Baily Verget and husband Charles of Warrenton, Va., three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a sister, Louise DeWeese and husband J. Victor of Sewickley, Pa. There will be no public viewing or funeral service and the arrangements are under the direction of the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Carmichaels and Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Co., P. O. Box 123, Carmichaels, Pa. 15320, Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, P. O.
