Lois A. Nana Kolat Wydo

Lois A. "Nana" Kolat Wydo, 56 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died at 7:25 P.M. on Monday, June 8, 2009 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born October 9, 1952 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Andrew K. and Agnes T. (Gregor) Kolat. Mrs. Wydo was a 1970 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 1996 graduate of Laurel Business Institute. She resided in Carmichaels since 1975 and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Crucible, Pa. Mrs. Wydo enjoyed baking, gardening and her faithful pets, Spotty and Peanut. The pride and joy of her life were her seven grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Brandi Wydo-Streit and her husband, Edward A. and Jamie Wydo Childs and her husband, John Dennis, all of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren, Ryan Michael Christopher, Jr., Baylee Ann Wydo, Nikolas Streit, Noah Streit, Denny Childs, Dylan Childs and Emma Childs; a sister, Carol Kolat Morris and her husband, K. Robert of Uniontown; two nieces, Wende and Kelly Morris and the father of her children, James Wydo. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P. M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 12, 2009. The Rev. John M. Bauer will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
