Darlette Sponaugle Brown

Darlette "Howard" "Sis" "Spitz" Sponaugle Brown, 49 of Mount Morris, Pa., died unexpectedly Friday morning, November 6, 2009 in her home. She was born January 10, 1960 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Earl H. "Bloxie" Sponaugle, Jr. and the late Shirley L. (Drews) Hayes. Darlette was a graduate of Mapletown High School and was a former member of the Low Riders Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed her animals and riding horses and was a very kind hearted person. Surviving are her companion of 15 years, Dennis G. Lambert of Mount Morris and his son, Dennie G. Lambert, Jr. of Logan, W. Va.; two brothers, William "Bubba" Sponaugle and Robert D. "Boone" Sponaugle, both of Mount Morris; two nephews, Earl W. Sponaugle, Jr. and his wife, Amanda of Greensboro, Pa. and Zachary Duane Sponaugle of Brookhaven, W. Va. and a niece, Alida Lynn Nethken of Maidsville, W. Va. Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Pastor Fred W. Tomlinson will officiate.
