Eric (Rick) Zorich

Eric "Rick" Zorich, 44 of Waynesburg, Pa., died unexpectedly Sunday morning, December 13, 2009 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg. He was born July 26, 1965 in Scott Township, Allegheny County, Pa., a son of Eva M. (Knight) Zorich of Waynesburg and the late Eli Mike Zorich. Mr. Zorich was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School and was employed by the Hughes Corporation, Sycamore, Pa. as a dry wall installer. He enjoyed hunting and working on cars and motorcycles. His wife, Rose M. (Knisley) Zorich, whom he married on December 31, 2008 survives. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two step sons, Eric Knisley and his wife, Sarah stationed with the U. S. Army in Hawaii and Wesley Johnson of Waynesburg; a step daughter, Ginny Johnson Yeager and her husband, Shaun of Waynesburg; eight step grandchildren, Jesse and Echo Johnson, Brielle, Spencer and Brooke Yeager, Lucian and Jocelyn Lipscomb and Malory Casteel; a brother, Eli M. Zorich and his wife, Beverly of Oakdale, Pa.; a sister, Eva Zorich-Hess and her husband, Russell of Jefferson, Pa. and two nephews, Christopher Zorich and his godson, Jordan Hess. Deceased is a brother, Edward M. Zorich. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Pastor John Rich Dorean will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
