Ruth Presock

Ruth Presock, 77 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 2:15 A.M. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born February 21, 1932 in Boone, N. C., a daughter of the late Gus and Stella (Smith) Norris. Mrs. Presock resided in Carmichaels most of her life and enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and canning. On August 30, 1948, she married Theodore "Ted" Presock, who died December 22, 2007. Surviving are two sons, Theodore B. Presock and his wife, Joyce and Jerry L. Presock and his companion, Trina, all of Carmichaels; three daughters, Darlene S. Beswick and her husband, Larry and Denise L. Forman and her husband, Derek all of Carmichaels and Shaun E. Sapp and her husband, Ken of Easley, S. C.; 13 grandchildren, Keith A. Bowser and his wife, April, Lisa D. Moore, Jason L. Bowser, Stacey Brown and her husband, Curt, Tedi Lynn Pozzuto and her husband, Mike, Amy Smith and her husband, Denny, Katelyn Presock and her fiancé Matt, Terri Wallace and her husband, Brandon, Sherri Grim and her husband, Jason, Laura Hart, Daniel Shuckhart, Tiffany Morgan and her husband, Matt and Memory Jordan; 21 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three brothers, Bob Norris and his wife, Barbara of Glen Burnie, Md., Leonard Norris and his wife, Odette of Florida and Lloyd Norris and his wife, Tina of White Pines, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a grandson, David Bowser and two brothers, Pat Norris and Larry Norris. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Pastor Timothy Tanner will officiate. Interment will follow at Wolf's Cemetery, Dilliner, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
