Hattie B. Rowe, 86 of Garards Fort, Pa. and formerly of R.D. #1, Greensboro, Pa., died at 10:37 A.M. on Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born April 22, 1923 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Bessie (Howell) Wilson. Mrs. Rowe resided in the Greensboro area since 1946 and enjoyed ceramics and sewing. Her husband, John W. Rowe, died April 18, 1982. Surviving are three sons, John W. Rowe and his wife, Mildred of Garards Fort, Arthur A. Rowe and his wife, Donna and David L. Rowe and his wife, Nancy, all of Carmichaels, Pa.; a daughter, Dorothy I. Kennedy and her husband, Billie of Dilliner, Pa.; six grandchildren, Billie Kennedy, Bobby Jo Kennedy, Marsha Bender, Cindy Redinger, Amanda Rowe and Michael Rowe; four great grandchildren; a brother, Frank Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Orie Wise of Winchester, Mass. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, James Wilson and John Wilson and five sisters, Ice Long, Kathryn Nicklow, Alice Kurk, Mary Swearingen and Louellen Johnson. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 14, 2010. Pastor Frank Vucic will officiate. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Morgantown, W. Va.
