Peggie R. Buday, 74 of Dilliner, Pa. and formerly of Mapletown, Pa., died on Monday, March 1, 2010 in her home. She was born October 27, 1935 in Garards Fort, Pa., a daughter of the late Harry Wedell and Nellie Victoria Mae (Daniels) Johnson. Mrs. Buday was a 1953 graduate of Mapletown High School and resided in Mapletown most of her life. She was a member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro and was a former member of the Church choir. Mrs. Buday enjoyed sewing, embroidery work and crossword puzzles. On March 4, 1955, she married Thomas A. Buday, who died May 28, 2007. Surviving are a son, Michael Anthony Buday and his wife, Kathryn with whom she made her home; a daughter, Denise Marie Hatalla and her husband, Daniel of Masontown, Pa.; three grandchildren, Colby Cormack and his wife, Jana, Michele Murray and her husband, Rob and Tiffany Loar and her husband, Adam; three great grandchildren, Gunnar Murray, Gwendalyn Murray and Tomi Loar; two step great grandchildren, Paige and Raven; a sister, Janet Kelley and her husband, Robert of Waynesburg, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a grandson, Marcus Cormack; two brothers, Robert Johnson and Harry Johnson and four sisters, Kathryn Temple, Leona Bowers, Ruth Romesburg and Jean Foss. Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 4, 2010, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 A.M. at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels, Pa. with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Garards Fort Cemetery, Garards Fort, Pa. A vigil service will be held at 3:45 P.M. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
