Erma "Bonnie" Kirchner, 81 of Carmichaels, Pa. died at 3:20 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2010 in Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown, Pa. She was born May 29, 1928 in Fairchance, Pa. a daughter of the late Samuel and Nora (Sutton) Bowlen. Mrs. Kirchner was a graduate of Fairchance High School and lived all of her married life in the Carmichaels area. She was a member of the Carmichaels First United Methodist Church, where she was active with the United Methodist Women and enjoyed quilting at the church. Mrs. Kirchner also enjoyed flower gardening and crocheting. On July 9, 1949 she married Henry "Hank" Kirchner, who died February 16, 2005. Surviving are two daughters, Cindy K. Rudolph and her husband Dave of Carmichaels and Cathy L. Nicklos and her husband Bob of Millsboro, Pa.; ten grandchildren, Yvonne, Mary, Tim, Teri, Todd, Davey, Sherrie, Chad, Scott and Haley; nine great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jackson, Patrick, Rachael, Stephanie, Isiah, Mia, Maddy and Gabby; one great great granddaughter Lily; one brother Robert Bowlen and his wife Patty of New Bern, N.C. and four sisters, Leona Cunningham, Lillie Wilson and Evelyn Martoncik, all of Fairchance and Jean George of Bellevue, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a brother James Enoch Bowlen and a sister Lagatha Abel. Family and friends are welcomed from noon to 3 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 29, 2010 with the Rev. Bruce R. Judy officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
