Robert S. Marshall, 62 of Garfield Heights, Ohio and formerly of Greene County, Pa., died at 1:52 P.M. on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Louis Stokes Veterans Administration Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. He was born March 23, 1948 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a son of the late Scott and Constance (Haney) Marshall. Mr. Marshall was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School and worked at the Gateway Mine. He served in the U. S. Air Force in Vietnam achieving the rank of staff sergeant. Mr. Marshall was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Evon (Wild) Marshall, whom he married on October 21, 1995; two daughters, Bobbi L. Antill and her husband, J. R. and Sheri Smotzer and her husband, Don all of Greensboro, Pa.; two sons, Michael Marshall of Greensboro and William Bellis and his wife, Chris of Dilliner, Pa.; a step daughter, Susan Bowser of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren; a great granddaughter and a sister, Carol Roarabaugh and her husband, David of Pittsburgh, Pa. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Dr. Robert M. Randolph will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park with full military honors accorded by Cumberland American Legion Post 400 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491.
