Anna Jacqueline "Jackie" Bradmon, 81 of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 8:34 A. M. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after a brief illness. She was born April 15, 1929 in Redstone Township, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Carroll) Johnson. Mrs. Bradmon was a 1947 graduate of Brownsville High School and resided in Carmichaels all of her married life. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels where she served as a deaconess, choir member, Sunday school teacher and treasurer of the Christian Women's Fellowship. Mrs. Bradmon was a former member of the former Ideal Chapter No. 213, O. E. S., Masontown, Pa. and served as an election poll worker in Cumberland Township. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. On January 29, 1949, she married Wayne R. Bradmon, who died August 30, 2007. Surviving are a son, Charles W. Bradmon and his wife Karen of Carmichaels; two daughters, Linda B. Gazy and her husband Robert of Eighty Four, Pa. and Jeanine Glenn and her husband, George of Abilene, Tex.; six grandchildren, Raeshawn Laster and her husband Tracy, Marsha Lowery (Peter Christie), Matthew Traynor, Justin Traynor, Dr. Michael Bradmon and his wife Leanne and Dana Svensson and her husband Mikael; five great grandchildren, Nicole Laster, Madison Christie, Joshua Christie, Christina Traynor and Mahailea Traynor; four brothers, James Carroll and his wife Ann of Hiller, Pa., Eugene Johnson and his wife Martha and Russell Johnson and his wife Barbara all of the State of California and Walter Johnson and his wife Carol of Morrisville, N. C.; three sisters, Leona Emerson of Florida, Darla Smith of Athens, Ala. and Barbara Lou Stanley of Morrisville, N. C. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Jack Carroll, Tom Hall and Dale Johnson and three sisters, Carol Striker, Inez Newman and Zella Mae Weaver. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2010. The Rev. Reagan L. Fike will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church, 235 S. Market St., Carmichaels, PA 15320.
