Robert E. Gaynor

April 1, 1967 — October 22, 2010

Robert E. Gaynor, 43 of Mount Morris, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., went home to be with the Lord at 12:17 A.M. on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Center for Compassionate Care, Mount Lebanon, Pa. after a four and one-half year battle with cancer. He was born April 1, 1967 in Harrisburg, Pa., a son of George E. and Sandra R. (Dill) Gaynor of Greensboro. Mr. Gaynor was a 1985 graduate of Mapletown High School and a member of the Point Marion United Methodist Church. He enjoyed car cruises with his 1955 Chevy. On April 3, 2004, he married Doronda Wilson Hathaway who survives. Also surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two brothers, George Gaynor, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Glen Burnie, Md. and John Gaynor and his wife, Cindy of Carnegie, Pa.; a niece, Emily Gaynor and two nephews, Brady Gaynor and Edward Gaynor and his faithful Miniature Pinscher, Nibby. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P.M. on Saturday and Noon to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 25, 2010. Pastor Fred W. Tomlinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa. The family acknowledges with deep appreciation the wonderful care afforded to Bob by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America of Philadelphia, Pa. and Family Hospice and Palliative Care of Mount Lebanon, Pa.
