Betty Dolly Anderson

Betty Deloris "Dolly" (Griffin) Anderson, 80 of Dilliner, Pa., went to be with her Lord Jesus on Monday, December 20, 2010. She was born April 7, 1930 in Dilliner, Pa., a daughter of the late Louie Levi and Goldie Ethel (Thomas) Griffin. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro, Pa. for many years and attended until her health no longer permitted. She attended Point Marion High School. On January 1, 1947, she married her husband of nearly 64 years, Roy Joseph Anderson, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Roy Joseph Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Vicki, of New Salem, Pa. and Barry Keith Anderson and his wife, Debra, of Mascot, Tenn.; a daughter, Aleta Lois (Anderson) Harris and her husband, Wesley of Spring Hill, Fla.; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are five brothers, Jasper Donald Griffin, Warren Thomas Griffin, Robert Arthur Griffin, Paul Ken Griffin and Alfred Levi Griffin and two sisters, Bessie Marie (Griffin) Williamson Drake and Ethel Lois (Griffin) Getzen Robison. At Mrs. Anderson's request, there will be no public viewing and a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
