Harold "Bud" Stansfield, 69 of Greensboro, Pa., died at 7:45 A.M. on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. He was born September 20, 1941 in Brownsville, Pa., a son of the late Harold Russell and Virginia Mae (Williams) Stansfield, Sr. Mr. Stansfield was a 1959 graduate of Mapletown High School and was a member of the Bobtown United Methodist Church. He served two tours of duty with the U. S. Air Force in Vietnam and attained the rank of technical sergeant. Mr. Stansfield retired from the Air Force in 1982. He was a recognized gunsmith and manufactured and assembled muzzle loading pistols for the Kennedy Firearms of Muncy, Pa. Mr. Stansfield also manufactured and assembled muzzle loading pistols and rifles for Track of the Wolf Firearms in Minnesota. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. On August 7, 1964, he married Constance E. Bargerstock, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Kevin Stansfield and his wife, Anita of Greensboro; two daughters, Shayla K. Wood of Swansboro, N. C. and Colleen G. Wunder of Waynesburg; four granddaughters, Megan E. Wood, Natasha Nacole Stansfield, Gabrielle E. Wunder and Gracelyn E. Wunder; a great granddaughter, Madelyn Rose Teabo; a sister, Carol Wilson and her husband, Woody of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Pastor Erwin "Woody" Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Mapletown, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
