Julia E. Reynolds, 84 of Rices Landing, Pa., died at 9:30 P.M. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born October 10, 1926 in Clearfield, Pa., a daughter of the late George James and Viola J. (Luzier) Harris. Mrs. Reynolds resided in Cumberland Township most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels and a member of the Ladies Aid Society in Crucible. In addition, she was a member of the Carmichaels Women's Civic Club, the Greene Academy of Art and the Carmichaels Senior Center. Mrs. Reynolds was an excellent cook and was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. On October 8, 1954, she married Wayne L. Reynolds, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, James E. Harris and his wife, Patricia, of Lexington, S. C. and Scott W. Reynolds and his wife, Ellen, of Rices Landing; a daughter, Dixie Lee Primosch of Cerritos, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Andrea Harris, James "J. J." Harris, Jr., Jackie Harris, Leia Reynolds, Alexandra "Lexi" Reynolds, Lydia Reynolds, Tom Primosch, Jr. and Ryan Primosch; three great grandchildren; a brother, Richard G. Harris and his wife, Helga of Nemacolin, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Ronald Harris, who died in infancy and Melvin J. Harris and two sisters, Sara Louise Carafa and Margaret J. Anderson. Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 P. M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Rev. Reagan L Fike will officiate. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church, P. O. Box 193, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
