Joyce Lynn Wydo, 50 of Crucible, Pa., died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born April 6, 1960 in Uniontown, a daughter of Genevieve Marie (Demniak) Myers of McClellandtown, Pa. and the late Joseph Myers. Mrs. Wydo was a graduate of German Township High School in McClellandtown and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Crucible. She was also a member of the Citizens Club and the Slavonic Club in Crucible and was a social member of the American Legion Post 423, Masontown, Pa. Mrs. Wydo worked for a number of years for the former Gallatin National Bank and the former National City Bank and was currently employed by the Denovus Corporation, LTD in Washington, Pa. She enjoyed gambling and playing poker. Mrs. Wydo will always be remembered for her smile and fun loving spirit. On July 2, 1994, she married James S. Wydo, who survives. Also surviving are two step daughters, Brandi Wydo Streit and her husband, Edward A., and Jamie Wydo Childs and her husband, John Dennis, all of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren, Ryan Michael Christopher, Jr., Baylee Ann Wydo, Nikolas Streit, Noah Streit, Denny Childs, Dylan Childs and Emma Childs; a brother, Joseph "Billy" Myers and his wife, Michele, of McClellandtown, Pa.; three sisters, Linda Franczyk and her husband, Bernie, of Confluence, Pa., Marie L. Myers of McClellandtown and Teresa Myers and her fiancé, Rich, of Coalport, Pa.; three nieces, Amanda Franczyk, Kaela Jo Myers and Stephanie Chester; her mother-in-law, Mary Alice Wydo of Footedale, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Carol Wilson of Smithfield, Pa.; a special aunt, Marion Furlong and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Family and friends are welcome from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. All are asked to meet at the funeral home no later that 8:45 A.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in order to proceed to a Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Crucible with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home.
