Pauline Engott, 91 of Waynesburg, Pa. and formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died at 1:05 P.M. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg. She was born December 21, 1919 in Mount Lebanon, Pa., a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Sasko. Mrs. Engott was a member of the Greensboro Presbyterian Church and a former member of the church choir. She was an avid painter and enjoyed pottery work, gardening, bowling and fishing with her family. Mrs. Engott was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Her husband, Joseph Raymond Engott, died November 3, 1976. Surviving are a son, J. Raymond Engott, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Richmond, Va.; two grandchildren, Kelly Foreman and her husband, Troy, of Greensboro and Raymond Andrew Engott and his wife, Leslie, of Richmond; two great grandchildren, Amelia and Ava Foreman; two sisters, Helen Levandosky of Rivesville, W. Va. and Margaret Sasko of Finleyville, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Saundra Lee Buttermore, who died in November of 2010; a brother, Frank Sasko and a sister, Anna Trunzo. Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 7 P.M. on Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 14, 2011 with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Randolph officiating. All are welcome to attend the graveside committal service at 11:00 A. M. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Oakmont Cemetery, Route 19 North, Waynesburg, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Greensboro Presbyterian Church, c/o Thomas J. Flynn, 1733 South Eighty Eight Rd., Greensboro, PA 15338.
