Carol A. Kerr, 61 of Crucible, Pa., died unexpectedly at 1:28 P.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 in her home. She was born April 5, 1950 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of Louise A. (Udovich) Weaver of Crucible and the late Robert F. Brown. Mrs. Kerr attended Carmichaels Area High School and earned her bachelors degree from the University of Southern Florida. She resided in Crucible for the past four years. Mrs. Kerr was very interested in environmental and animal issues and was active in local grassroots politics. She enjoyed conversing with her family and friends. Surviving are her companion of 23 years, Robert J. Allen; a son, Jon E. Kerr and his fiancé, Cindy Cooley, of Crucible; three grandchildren, Christian Lohr, Zachariah Kerr and Alex Kerr; a brother, Larry Brown of Brownsville, Tex.; two sisters, Patricia Gera of Carmichaels, Pa. and Lindy Kelly of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two nieces, Alexie Scharte and Jennifer Gera and two nephews, Jason Klimek and Jonathan Klimek Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday, November 7, 2011 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. A blessing service by the Rev. John M. Bauer will follow the visitation at 8:00 P. M. on Monday in the funeral home.
