Helen B. Barnish, 91 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Crucible, Pa., died at 2:58 P.M. on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Mount Saint Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born March 15, 1920 in Grays Landing, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Krafcheck) Pribula. Mrs. Barnish resided in Carmichaels since 1998 and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Crucible. She was also a member of the St. Hugh Rosary Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters of America Greene County Court, the St. Hugh Senior Activity Group and a former member of the Carmichaels Senior Center. On June 29, 1957, she married Edward T. Barnish, who died April 3, 2003. Surviving are a daughter, Mary B. Simkovic and her husband, Jerry, of Carmichaels; two grandchildren, Justin Simkovic and his wife, Ashley, and Matthew Simkovic and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews . She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her husband are five brothers, Mike and Paul Pribula, who were twins, John Pribula, Albert Pribula and Frank Pribula, who died in infancy and four sisters, Mary Horvath, Anna Tekavec, Pauline Michael and Margaret Kuhns. The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care and concern provided by Dr. Pish and the medical and support staff at Mount Saint Macrina Manor. According to the wishes of Mrs. Barnish, there will be no public viewing. Interment at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa. will be private
