Gina Marie Rice

Gina Marie Rice, 23 of Waynesburg, Pa. died Sunday, November 27, 2011 from the result of an automobile accident on Route 21 West of Waynesburg. She was born March 31, 1988 in Waynesburg a daughter of the late Michael Yakubac and Mary Jo Rice . Miss Rice was a 2006 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and had received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Waynesburg University this past May. She was strong willed, quick witted and made others smile with her jokes. Miss Rice was compassionate with others and had a very "big heart". Surviving are her companion, Robert Wilson; two sisters, Regina S. Watters of Carmichaels, Pa. and Nedra J. Grego and her husband, Eric of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, Arthur Wesley Rice and his wife, Jamie of Nemacolin, Pa.; two nieces and three nephews; two uncles, George A. Rice, Sr. of Carmichaels and Eugene Palone of Rices Landing, Pa. Deceased in addition to her parents are an aunt, Dolores "Honey" Palone and Maternal Grandfather, Arthur Rice. Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce R. Judy officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
