Harold B. Wood

Harold B. Wood, age 78, of Carmichaels, Pa., passed on to be with his Lord Jesus at 11:21 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela, Pa. He was born July 26, 1933 in Uniontown Pa., the son of the late Robert R. and Martha (Kirkland) Wood. Mr. Wood resided in Carmichaels for the past 46 years where he was a member of the Carmichaels Free Methodist Church. He served with the U. S. Army and was employed by Centerville-Carmichaels Clinics as an X-ray technician from 1966 until his retirement in 1992. On March 11, 1961, he married the love of his life, Sarah L. Wright, of McKees Rocks, Pa., who passed away on April 17, 2000. Surviving are a son, Harold Ralph Wood of Carmichaels; three daughters, Elizabeth J. Clister and her husband, Darwin, of Carmichaels, Heather A. Rossell and her husband, Rex, of Fredericktown, Pa., Ellen Oens of North Lima, Ohio; a grandson, Timothy Rossell; two granddaughters, Cheyenne Rossell and Maddie Rossell; a great grandchild; a sister, Martha Ciotti of Las Vegas, Nev. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue Wood, who died shortly after birth. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2011. Pastor Dale Rexrode will officiate. Interment will follow at Park Place Cemetery, Uniontown Pa.
