Walter Whitey Wozniak

Walter S. "Whitey" Wozniak, 57, formerly of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 4:55 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. He was born February 21, 1955 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a son of the late Walter Thomas and Clara Anne (Mikolay) Wozniak. Mr. Wozniak was a 1973 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and attended Penn State University. He was an avid sports fan and was currently working at Walmart in Washington, Pa. Surviving are a sister, Francene M. Sadlek and her husband, Rudy, of Rices Landing, Pa.; a nephew, Jason Sadlek and his fiancé, Kristine, of Masontown, Pa.; a niece, Jennifer Radosevich and her husband, Robby, of Masontown; two beloved great nieces, Brenna Claire Sadlek and Zofia Claire Radosevich and special friends, Alec and Camryn Anderson of Carmichaels. Deceased is a brother, Stan T. Wozniak. There will be no public viewing and funeral services will be private. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
