Joanne T. Gabeletto

Joanne T. Gabeletto, 76, of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 6:10 A.M. on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born September 13, 1935 in Nemacolin, a daughter of the late Frank Albert and Anna (Clay) Tomko. Mrs. Gabeletto was a 1953 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and resided in Cumberland Township most of her life. She was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church of Nemacolin where she was a former choir member. Mrs. Gabeletto served as president of the Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Company Women's Auxiliary and worked as a seamstress at Greenway Manufacturing for 16 years. Surviving are two sons Michael G. Gabeletto and his wife, Rose, of Nemacolin and Frank Mark Gabeletto and his wife, Candace, of Canonsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Nicole Gabeletto of Seattle, Wash.; a grandson, Michael Anthony Gabeletto and his wife, Toyia, of Fredericktown, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are five brothers and four sisters. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:15 A.M. on Friday, March 9, 2012, followed at 11:00 A.M. by a Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Nemacolin with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Crucible, Pa. A parish rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
