Judith A. Bochnak, 66, of Grindstone, Pa. and formerly of Dry Tavern (Rices Landing), Pa., died at 11:30 P.M. on Monday, March 26, 2012 surrounded by her family at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born December 20, 1945 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Fred and Catherine Virginia (McMasters) Palone, Sr. Mrs. Bochnak was a 1964 graduate of the Jefferson-Morgan High School and resided in Dry Tavern for about 40 years. She worked in patient registration at the former Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg for about eight years before working as an administrative assistant at the former Beverly Health Care in Waynesburg until 2006. Mrs. Bochnak was a very devoted and unconditional loving wife, mother and grandmother. On September 25, 1970, she married John J. Bochnak, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Timothy A. Bochnak and his wife, Lisa, of Christiansburg, Va.; five daughters, Robin L. Hall of Flower Mound, Tex., Jane A. Pushkar and her husband, Dennis, of North Huntingdon, Pa., Tammy-Lynn Bochnak of Cross Junction, Va., Brandi L. McGrady and her husband, Michael, of Fredericktown, Pa. and Kristi L. Bochnak of Waynesburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Ashley Kuithe, Brandon Bochnak, Brian Bochnak, Alanna Bochnak, Johnathan Pushkar, Baylie McGrady and Calen McGrady; two brothers, Fred K. Palone and his wife, Suzanne, of Naples, Fla. and Norman A. Palone of Mather, Pa.; a sister, Cathy Sapinsky and her husband, Ed, of Smithton, Pa.; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Bochnak and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Jane Annette Palone, who died in childhood.
All funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
