Loretta Jean Pecjak, 64, of Crucible, Pa., died Friday morning, April 20, 2012 at the Washington Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 5, 1947 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Edwina Jean (Volchko) Jolliffe. Mrs. Pecjak resided in Crucible most of her life and was a Methodist. She worked as a food preparer at Caputos Restaurant in Dry Tavern for 23 years. Mrs. Pecjak enjoyed homemaking, cooking, flower gardening craft work, making candy at Christmastime and camping with her grandchildren. She was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. On July 5, 1967, she married Ralph D. Pecjak, who survives. Also surviving are a son, David D. Pecjak of Crucible; a daughter, Sue Lynn Pecjak, at home; two grandchildren, Diamond Lynn Pecjak and Gabriella Lee Lynn Pecjak; two brothers, Warren K. Jolliffe of Waynesburg, Pa. and Charles T. Jolliffe of Carmichaels, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a son, Kenneth Lee Pecjak. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. on Tuesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. The Rev. Harold O. Kelley will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
