Bethany C. Kowalczyk

Bethany C. Kowalczyk, 27, of Carmichaels, Pa., died unexpectedly Monday morning, April 30, 2012 at Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born January 8, 1985 in Monongahela, Pa., a daughter of Charles O. Kowalczyk, I and his wife, Sharon, of Carmichaels and Pamela M. (Cindrich) Kowalczyk, with whom she made her home in Carmichaels. Bethany was a 2006 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and resided in the Carmichaels area all of her life. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Carmichaels. Bethany enjoyed watching old time movies, being in the company of her family, friends and animals, eating Chinese food and listening to country music. Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Jeremy Charles Kowalczyk and his wife, Jennifer, of Akron, Ohio and Charles Otto Kowalczyk, II of Carmichaels; two sisters, Tammy L. Christopher of Carmichaels and Barbara J. Anderson and her husband, Joe, of Ohio; four nephews, Jonathan Christopher, Evan Charles Kowalczyk, Richie Weems and Joey Anderson; three nieces, Katrina Christopher, Ella Kowalczyk and Christian Weems; two uncles, Gerald Kowalczyk and his wife, Janet, of Carmichaels and John Patchen and his wife, Avis, of Crucible and several cousins. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 4, 2012. Elder Scott Shay will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
