Anna Marie Baranowski

Anna Marie Baranowski, 96, of Bobtown, Pa., died Tuesday morning, May 28, 2013 at Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born January 13, 1917 in Sharpsburg, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Victoria (Racis) Baranowski. Miss Baranowski resided in Bobtown most of her life where she was a member of the St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church. She worked at Houze Glass in Point Marion, Pa. for 10 years prior to working as a beautician in Bobtown for over 50 years. Surviving are a brother, John Baranowski and his wife, Stella, of Parma, Ohio and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, Stanley Baranowski, who died in infancy; two sisters, Sophia Podolinski and Virginia A. Baranowski and a nephew, Daniel Baranowski. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 A. M. until 12:15 P.M., the time of a blessing service on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Carmichaels, Pa. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, Bobtown, Pa. with the Rev. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment will follow at Point Marion Endowed Cemetery, Point Marion, Pa. The family suggests that Mass contributions be made to St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church.
