Betty Jean Snyder Hudson

Betty Jean Snyder Hudson, 84, of Pittsburgh, Pa. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 2:50 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Marian Manor, Pittsburgh. She was born April 22, 1929 in Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pa., a daughter of the late Elmer Clinton and Lulu (Daniels) Snyder. Mrs. Hudson was baptized in the First United Methodist Church of Carmichaels. Surviving are a son, David R. Hudson and his wife, Denise, of Virginia and seven nieces and nephews along with Sandy Sluganski and her children of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Elmer Carl Snyder, Edward L. Snyder, William Snyder, James W. Snyder and John William Snyder and five sisters, Ada Reagan, Della Sluganski, Ethel Johnson, Mary S. Coutry and Edna R. Sluganski. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside committal of her cremains at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Rd., Waynesburg, PA 15370. The Rev. Bruce R. Judy will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the local humane society in the name of Betty Hudson.
